That is not what it was about Alexa, for you who doesn’t know what is Alexa is little definition of its. Alexa is a website which provides information service, traffic ranking of a website on the internet.  Alexa ranking calculates this website by analyzing the user’s website from the millions of users who use the Alexa toolbar, and also the data taken from various other sources of data. This information is then used to rank the website is available at the website Button.

In the world of the Internet and in in addition to PR (page Rank) owned by Google, Alexa can also be used as an additional tool to know how much actual traffic from your website, I think is it helpful for us who concern about our blog traffic .  Alexa website, we can get a traffic report ranked the Internet website with this range of 7 days, 1 month, 3 months, 6 months and maximum range. The information of traffic are include Reach, Rank, and Page view.

-What is Rank ?

Rank is calculated based on data for 3 months from the data collected from users in the tool bar Button and other data sources. then merged with the page view and reach.

-What is the Reach ?

Reach calculate the number of users. Usually in the form of a percentage of all Internet users who visit a particular site. For example: if the site has irupiah.com reach 10%, that means all users of the Internet with data successfully used by Alexander, 10% of users visiting the site irupiah.com

-What is the Page View ?

Page view provide information that the number of pages accessed by users. If there is one the same page, accessed by a user over time in the same day, will be counted as 1 page view.

Alexa also provides the Alexa toolbar, which can be downloaded here.

I deliberately explain what Alexa in the posting of this rather fundamental, because in the next posting I will try writing tips to improve Alexa ranking of your site.
